Ok so one hour ago there was no sign of this and now look what’s on the glass!

Its made up of thousands of worms and they grouping together like something out a sci-fi show! Moving about it’s super creepy!

It’s my Frogfish tank, and he’s absolutely fine as are the corals.

Tentatively ID'ed as Labyrinthula (or a relative - I really need to get around to researching this thing in depth one of these days). Some of the links below look like this, others look somewhat different:
Labyrinthula (though I haven’t researched this enough yet to verify if it actually is Labyrinthula or just worms that look like Labyrinthula). The consensus seems to be that it’s harmless unless you’re trying to keep seagrasses.

Here are some threads dealing with them (some more similar to yours than others):

thank you! I’ll start some investigating myself now as well, that’s at least giving me a starting point. I was wondering if I should have called Ripley and her flame thrower

They look to be leaving millions of tiny white specs on the glass perhaps eggs?

It’s like guess the critter id on that glass at the moment, got stomatella, pods, planaria and now the worms.
Typical I needed to take video and I’ve not cleaned the glass in days

This is all that’s left now, they retreated back into the substrate.
