What is this. Can’t tell is it a centipede that fell in and died or is this something terrible?

I know it’s not a bristle worm. Maybe a bobbit worm. A dead land centipede? I’m afraid to touch it.

Actually, no. It’s a holy grail 24k house centipede.
This is the grail of tank bugs. Caught it the other day during a feeding. NEVER seen this guy before.

The yellow platform is 4.5” wide

How big is he going to get!

Cover that sucker in chocolate and toss it in the candy bowl.
Fun fact

Coral rx directly dripped on it seems to annoy it but only after about 30 seconds.

But iodine…iodine makes it instantly freak the heck out. Much more effective. I didn’t know that

Aww don’t torture it, it was just cleaning the tank for you. Dispatch it quickly although I have no idea how to with a bristle worm.

I was trying to quickly. And when coral rx didn’t work fast enough (seems to irritate but not kill) I added iodine. That worked fast

I normally don’t remove the worms but large ones like this have caused issues before for my sandbed corals
