Hi, I have something that looks like a clear aphasia in one of my rocks what is it I have asked before and was told it could be a glass anemone and also would boiling remove it as I think it is stinging some of my corals.

Nonononono!!
Well, yes, but no.
First, glass anemone is another name for aiptasia.
Second, you don't "boil it", but you CAN inject boiling water into it; you can also inject lemon juice, kalk slurry, Aiptasia-x, F-aiptasia, etc.

DON'T BOIL THE ROCK!

Sorry, I was answering the question as posed, i.e. "would boiling work" but it is just one of many options available, as you have mentioned. Sorry if that was confusing.

It's just a very bad idea unless you do it outdoors in a well ventilated area wearing mask and eye protection (and no, I'm not kidding!)
Do some research into it...

Boiling would get rid of the aptasia, I already boiled it you wanted to know if it did work to kill the aptasia
We did do it with a hood over the stove

I never asked if it would work; I warned you that boiling live rock is a very very bad idea!

I'm sure it will get rid of aiptasia... And your cat, your dog, your kids....

Boiling is advised against because of possible corals on rock that contain toxins (primarily paly’s) that may/can become airborne and inhaled causing severe illness or death. Judging by the rock you showed, boiling shouldn’t be an issue other than killing off the good with the bad.

With that said….there are certainly better ways of getting rid of aiptasia.
