Hello I have had my first saltwater tank set up for a little over 3 months. Today I purchased my first coral, and after acclimating and dipping it I added it to my tank. I have noticed little tendril looking things on it after having it in the tank a few hours. Is this part of my zoanthid or some pest?

The bottom right one is a feather duster worm - it's a harmless filter feeder (and you got a neat looking one there).

I can't tell what the other two are, but the bottom left one concerns me a bit; could you get clearer pics of the other two, preferably from various angles?

Here are some more pictures. I noticed an additional set peeking out lower on the frag.

Those are "pest" anemones (most in the hobby would call them "Aiptasia") - you'll probably want to remove them as they can reproduce quickly and sting things in the tank.

Ah that is what I feared. Do you think I could get away with just removing the frag from the tank? (Been in for about 6 hours).

Probably with that timeline. You could isolate it in a little QT container and try to remove the nems in there if you want to try and save the frag (I'd keep it QT'd for a few weeks to be safe though).
