My tank is 15 months old. I've had the BTA for 2 months. It found its happy place within a few days and hasn't moved. This week it is holding 1/2 of its foot up (see photos). My LfS did a spin test of my water and everything is spot on.

It looks like it is not well. Need better light, I think. I find that anemones do better with white light rather than blue. It is not attaching to the rock well due to the algae. When anemone go walking, the really inflated their foot, so your BTA is not walking (at least from the picture) even if it does not fully attach to the rock.

Just to put it in perspective.. this is one of my RBTAs. I have 4 from the same mother.

The absolute number one rule is good water chemistry. Clean, stable water, good flow, great lightning.

I Can bet you have sky high nitrates, high phosphates, low PAR, probably some ammonia, low flow..

It all can be fixed but it requires patience and

I feed it 2x per week. Shrimp and reef roids
I'm running blue to help with algae but I will change adding white
Haven't fed my nems in years. What lights are you using and what are your parameters?

Also think the algae is an issue.

I have 2 Kessil A80's for lighting. Parameters are spot in and I'm working on the algae. Yesterday I bought 4 Mexican Turbo snails and I am doing manual algae removal.
