Fiji Cube 81EXT

I love my Kent metal blade scraper. Is it okay for low iron glass?

What magnetic cleaner is everyone using? I am now using a Mag Float but it's beat up and I am looking for new.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Also have a Fiji Cube.
Also use the Flipper that has a metal blade.
The abrasion side doesn't get the brown algae much, but the blade works great and no scratching.

Not really, If you use the same side for a long time I guess it may start to break down, but just stop and turn it to a clean side or get a new one if it happens.

Enough have mentioned magic eraser so I'll assume it's safe (chemically) but doesn't it fall apart and leave debris in the tank?
Yes, they break down, but the material is inert and won't harm anything. (This is for the regular ones... If there are others with any additives, I'd avoid those).

Mighty Magnets for me. The Algae Dozer blade is fantastic (plastic, not metal).

They make aquarium style magic erasers that have a scrubby side and a soft side, and they are made for aquarium use.

I have a Fiji cube stay away from the magfloat metal scraper!!

The Kent works good but I've still scratched it, now I'm sticking to the aquarium style magic eraser for a while and gunna see how that does.

I use tunze but the plastic only. I have had metal flipper and tunze scratch low iron. I will sometimes use a new razorblade if I let a spot get really thick. But after scratching 3 low iron tanks with metal magnetic cleaners I don’t think the brand matters, you have a chance of scratching. Some people don’t get a scratch but imo they are lucky lol.

the tunze plastic blades are nice, I don’t like the flippers plastic blade as much

Tunze Care with plastic on my new 525XL tank... works great. I am especially sensitive to the seams (even though mine has the armor protectors) so not using metal blades. ;)
