I recently accidentally busted the PVC that connects to my overflow, Unfortunately, I cemented them right below the black threaded piece on my overflow. I can cut them but I will be left with only the threaded part. Lesson learned!

I can't reach behind my tank to get a measurement with the way it's placed :/

I plan on using hoses instead of PVC this time, would this be a viable option? what kind of adapters will I need if I can?

I looked it up online and it appears to have 1” bulkheads. You would need a female threaded 1” schedule 40 to spigot that matches the hose size you want to use.
