I have a clove polyp colony that has been getting smaller and smaller recently. Today I noticed these growing in the colony. Can anyone identify?

Myrionema amboinense - a kind of colonial hydroid; it may be stinging the clove polyps:
I've heard smothering the hydroids with kalk paste may work, and here are some other threads with suggestions that might be helpful::
