What are these spots on my tangs?

I have a powder blue and gem tang now for about a month. Both were spotless and healthy when purchased from lfs. They received both fish from a tank breakdown where they lived together for a few years. This past week I noticed a spot like a hole on the side of the powder blue and today I noticed white marks on gem tang fin but only on his fin. Any help on what these marks are would be appreciated. Thank you

They are tail strikes from tangs squabbling and using their scalpels
They should heal on their own as long as the fussing is not continuous. The perpetrator is likely the powder blue tang which are often jerks
Keep an eye on them and the injured areas for healing and becoming infected
The white spots on tail appear to be viral

Thank you for the quick reply. Those two are always swimming together never seen them go at it but I only watch them a couple hours a day. Also they do like to hang out next to a big bubble tip I’m wondering if it could of stung them as well?

Not a sting which would be circular ring like a bullseye. I have 24 tangs and they bicker every now and then

I agree, the PBT looks like a tail strike. Even if they lived together for a long time, they may still squabble. The white on the gem tang's left pectoral fin is less clearly from fighting, but it could be - just keep an eye on it.
