What are the white fat "tubes" and fluffy white stuff on my LR and Clam shell?

Hi. Ive realised some "growth" happening on my clam shell and live rock of my Yuma Coral.
Im not sure what it is and it just started to appear like a week ago.

On the right seems to be the "tube" thing and on the left is the furry stuff. My yuma and clam is closed up cause I just turned my lights on.
These things are giving me goosebumps. Is it good? or bad?

On the yuma, harmless pineapple sponge. And I'm pretty sure the other is a sponge too. Both are harmless. Great filter feeders, or remove them if you don't like them.

It’s just a pineapple sponge. Harmless filter feeder. It probably came on that mushroom.

The first thing. Is a pineapple sponge, and the second, I’m not totally sure, but appear to be another type of sponge and/or colonial tunicates.

How would you remove them? And is it possible that itll take over a tank?

Alright. will it take over a tank if left uncontrolled?

depends on what you mean. I wouldn’t expect pineapple sponges to take over. There’s potential for a population boom, but I don’t know if that would create enough competition for the corals to be harmful. Some sponges that grow in a mass could grow over other organisms such as coral, and smother them or starve them of light and food. I’m too new to the hobby to have definitive answers on this.
