As I just read further into bioluminescence, I found this:

“Another possible reason bacteria use luminescence reaction is for quorum sensing, an ability to regulate gene expression in response to bacterial cell density.[3]”

If you are going to get that deep, then include “coral holibiont”. And if we are doing quorum sensing, let’s include dna memory and ability to change in response to environment which is gene expression.

Getting the best colors and growth from acros. Especially slower growers like Tenuis and Speciosa, which both have lots of color development potential.
