SPS* bug, autocorrect is not my friend today

I got a stylo / bird nest from a buddy and there are some brown dots on it, it seems to be engraved into the skeleton but I can dig it out with exacto knife tip, upon microscope examination it doesn’t look like flatworm or a bug, maybe it’s just tissue?

Should I be worried? Toss it or put it in DT. Already dipped in coralRX

I would rather throw it out than risk introducing unknown problems into my tank.

What it is, I can't say from your pictures and description what you have there?

I thought they could be flatworms, but it does not look so under microscope, if it is not flatform and definitely not a "bug" type, then I have to guess it's just coral tissue?

Could be psychic type.

In all seriousness I would def at least QT/dip it. QT + observation would be ideal.
