What’s growing on the scoly?

Hi everyone,

Was wondering if anyone can tell me what is this weird clear/white stuff growing on the side of the scoly? It’s on the skeleton and I just recently noticed it...should i be concerned?

I'm gonna vote for sponges, especially the one just right of center - it looks a lot like a pineapple sponge to me.

If it’s agitating your scolly then take action dont stand idly by. Use an toothbrush or something and get it off. If it’s another reason then no worries.

+1 its a sponge, not a pineapple sponge but definitely a sponge

Thanks everyone for your input! Going to try removing it and hopefully the scoly will puff up again
