Never seen anything like that but given peroxide tends to kill a lot of things and zoas tolerate it well I'd start there and see what happens.

Wow the 2nd pic needs a clear pic but looks like a sponge but that first pic has me stumped. Agree with the dip but curious if someone can id the first pic. Coral rx will kill the sponge in the second pic. Wouldnt hurt to dip the first frag also.

No, I even pulled a piece off. Kinda falls apart when touching it. Talking about the stingy stuff

The stringy stuff is so soft I feel like if I blasted it with a wave maker it would clean it off... I don’t plan on doing that just saying.

the glob of white is hard. If I pulled it off it would rip the zoas off with it.

All these frags were dipped in coral RX for 10 mins when I first got them BTW

Any chance (knowing this will be hard) that you could try pulling one of the "strings" away intact for a close pic? They really look like this but it makes no sense that they wouldnt be motile
