Just posting this to see how many people were able to keep their tanks going in the Ashville area. I was fortunate enough to not have my house destroyed by falling trees or by flooding, but I am still without power. I was eventually able to acquire a generator, but it is getting pretty expensive to run. My tank sat in darkness with no heater for 3 days. Fortunately , I managed to keep the main pump running at a trickle. I do have several acro colonies and a few torches. Unable to do water changes yet. Hopefully nothing decides to blow tissue.

I’m in Buncombe, and was fortunate enough to get power back on Sunday. I had a battery backup running just the pumps on my main tank and frag tank and a battery air stone for my tank upstairs. I have power and water (RODI as well) so let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.

Finally got power today. So tired of constantly filling up the generator. I ended up losing two torches. The acros actually did pretty well.

Nice save!
Beautiful display.
Thanks. I actually think the outage made a few corals look a little better. I simplified the flow and dialed the lights down a bit. The torches are a lot more open than they were before.
