After years of going back and forth with this I've decided to put a majestic angelfish in my reef, got it yesterday it's in QT now. My tank is mostly LPS and softies and some anemones I do have a trap in case I need to catch it lol

I've got a goldflake, regal and, flame. They mainly get along, some occasional aggression and some soft coral nipping, but overall not too bad. Lost some zoas

I have sps mostly, but would just count on losing some portion of those LPS. The problem is that with the nipping here and there the corals just won't open up.

I had an emperor angel in my tank for a while and he ate some zoas and occasional nips on sps basically kept daytime polyp extension low. The milleoporas stayed open though.

The fish died for no reason after 2.5 yrs, but there is nothing prettier than an angelfish in a reef tank IMO.

I am getting a gold flake and possibly a blue line soon. I don't even care if they eat the coral.
