Weird white tube like structure growing on frag rack

I have removed this in the past but it keeps consistently growing back, wondering if it could be identified and the best way for me to remove it permanently. (white slimey things in the image)

I think they're called pineapple sponges. To my knowledge you're not toxic

Looks like some type of sponge. You will likely have to remove all of it completely to prevent it from regrowing.

Pineapple sponges look like little pineapples, not like this.

There are hundreds of different species of pineapple sponges and probably thousands of sponges in general

The pineapple sponges we classify in our reef tanks are not going to take over a frag rack or aquascape like the sponge in question seems to be doing. They also look like pineapples.
