Weird thing coming out of Acan

Hey reefers,

i got this acan that doesnt look like its extending to its fullest… its got these strange things poking out of the coral.

Appears to be coming out between polyps, but out from right out of the tissue of the polyp..
pretty small, but some algae has attached to the tips of whatever these are. I have a second acan that doesnt have any of this.

i dont believe they are vermitid snail tubes..

Can you get some pictures under whites? It would make it easier to diagnose.
