Just finished QT of One Spot Foxface, Firefish Exquisite, Royal Gramma, and Yellow Watchman Goby.

Interesting observation is that even though they each had several places to hide, the Foxface would always seem to cuddle up near the Firefish when scared or through the night. Is this odd or normal? No problem, just thought that was interesting and would not have guessed that relationship.

Transferred to Octo Acclimation chamber in DT yesterday. I put goby in one section, Gramma in 2nd and Foxface & Firefish together in the third section. All seems well. These two are buds!

Fish often feel more confident with companions. A lone fish is at higher risk for predation.
My fox has a possibly even weirder friend

Probably weird with the Foxface, but the Firefish can show pairing behavior. So somewhat normal for the goby. I'd say that, in this relationship, the Foxface is Fonzie and the firefish is Richie.

For those who need to look that up, go to TV shows in the 70s!
