Ive been told that I should be dosing my tank each week with BactoBlend, is there anything else I should be dosing the tank with or is that enough?

I run a 50 gallon tank with live rock and 4 fish in it.

How old is the tank? Is there a reason for dosing BactoBlend? Without any coral in the tank you can probably get away with only weekly water changes, rather than dosing chemicals/bacteria.

Tank is around 4 weeks old. I started the tank by adding daily dosage of beneficial bacteria to get the tank cycled, now it’s fully cycled is there anything I should be dosing at all, or just water changes ?

What are your current water parameters? (ammonia and nitrate)

A picture of the tank would help. Even with corals being added there shouldn't be a need to dose anything in the first year. Once corals start depleting elements that can not be replenished with simple water changes then dosing would be a next step. :)

Hey mate, my tank is only going to be a FOWLR as I have Bicolur angel who doesn’t mix well with coral,
As for the water changes, as I use RO water is there ANYTHING I need to be adding other then salt when doing water changes?
Bacteria etc?

For a FOWLR tank I wouldn't worry about dosing anything extra. Your water changes should take care of it. :)
Brilliant cheers mate, as I have a canister filter (Fluval 207) that has a built in pre filter, should I be doing water changes and filter cleaning fortnightly as oppose to monthly?

Canister filters are like filter socks. They trap detritus and over time it breaks down and your nitrates/phosphates rise. Changing your water and cleaning the filter every couple of weeks would be better than monthly.
