My 60 Gal tank w/ 30 Gal sump is cycling and aim to make it a mixed reef. I'm going back and forth with the stock list and looking for some insight. I was hoping to get sometime of centerpiece fish like a Flame Angel or Tomini tang but just doesn't make sense in a 3 foot tank.

Pair of Clownfish (Ocellaris)
Six Line Wrasse
Fire Fish
Diamond Goby or (Midas?) Blenny
Watchman Goby + Pistol Shrimp
2 Cleaner Shrimp
Basic ReefCleaners Cleanup Crew

Open to recommendations! I was also considering a Royal Gramma but think that might put the load over the top. I feel like I'll be close to maxed out with these guys but would like to hear thoughts or potential concerns.

I don't know much about the minimum size requirements for the angel and tang, but I agree with you that 60g and 3 feet probably won't be suitable for those guys. Hopefully, someone else can give you some definitive info on that. But as for your other options, those sound good!

i think you could get away with a flame in a 60, some people will probably say 70 minimum, to each their own. just be careful, they can be… rude. other fish look good, go with the midas blenny in my opinion, unbeatable personality.

Do you have the blenny with a goby? I've read they can be aggressive toward them and I'm set on the Goby / Shrimp combo
