Hello everyone, I just thought I would share my findings. For all of you 1” thick aquarium tanks I found a solution other than the mp60 ecotech! I purchased a Jebao scp-180. , now the magnets it comes with won’t hold but I bought these magnets on Amazon. Holds it on full blast!! Just thought I’d share my knowledge as I was getting tired of suction wavemakers. Happy reefing everyone.

Neptune WAV pumps claim to work with 1" glass but the WAV would only work if you have an Apex.

Tunze Turbelle stream 6255 is a great option.

Neither option is cheap. I would choose the Tunze.

You cannot use bare metal neodymium magnets in saltwater, they will surely leech heavy metals into your system.
I'm assuming he's using the existing magnets on the wet side and is only using the neo's on the dry side.

I am pretty sure they only replaced the dry side magnets.
