anyone used dr reefs for quarantined fish? apologies I used that magic search bar and found the answers.
Yes. Got my Tomini Tang from them along with some inverts. They've been doing great! Great communication as well.

So I powered up the skimmer today it’s a big piece of kit at the moment I have it wide open the bung out on collection cup as it’s going wild plenty of micro bubbles hoping the break in happens quickly and it will settle down tomorrow so I can dial it in a bit better. I addd a load of turbo start Thursday and a few chromis. UV will remain off for a week or so. Everything still at zero on the tests not surprised. Looking good anyone got any tips for the octo skimmer?

I ordered a DOS today should get it mid week so I can automate water changes few gallons a day over a week got a 30 gallon water storage container. Also ordered some 7" filter cups as suggested by @salty150. tank is running quiet no water collection on the euro brace so far. Skimmer still not broke in but a lot better than yesterday have changed the skimmer chamber to give me maximum space for now to try reduce the micro bubbles in tank.

Let us know how you like them, and what you choose to put in them.

Just strange, everyone else I have seen with the new Euro-braced LX seems to have those water droplets - that has to be real fun keeping clean of salt creep, etc.

Skimmer chamber is a good size reef octo 250 fits nicely. Also fuge chamber is a good size I have it set to the largest setting
That sump does look A LOT better than the one that came with my 100.3. It looks great, that regal skimmer looks awesome too. Keep up the good work

so I have a shipment of clean up crew coming in today to add to the tank and some more pods. I also added a klir V2 last night I know the reviews are not great but its the easiest solution at the minute they are cheap so let's see what it can do. The filter socks are not great at all so lets see I will review after a few weeks of having them in tank first impression is not great but not terrible build quality is poor but the motor seems to be upgraded from the other klir

So the pair of sailfin wrasse I had acquired a while ago got introduced to the tank I have several wrasse that will be introduced over the next few weeks just waiting for them to be ready to add. Then with the other fish that I have waiting going to be picking out the tangs soon ready to add in month or so. They went into the tank this evening and hid will see how they settle in and get photos tomorrow. Also added a Goby who went straight to work redesigning the aqua scape for me making them rollers roll.!

quick update been really bust now running tow klir filters but when I run off one controller the thing just beeps purchased the Y splitter still not good so they are running both individually. I also added some of my other fish that turned up pair of McCosker wrasse, Blue Tang and a Blonde Nano tang felt comfortable adding these two tangs first before the achilles and the Gems tangs which will be ready end of April.

so the Klir filters have gone biggest waste of cash ever it literally fell apart. Also I could not get them to sync.

I also lost Melanurus Wrasse it jumped and landed on the euro brace was dead when I found it.

tank is going well Fuge is now up and running full of pods.

so I am running two 7" filter cups as suggested by @salty150 and its running great. I also have my gems tang in the tank now as well as some purple fire fish. I decided against adding all the tangs at once due too bio load so in addition too the gas and blue I have now added a smaller gems tang around 3.5" the blonde nato is around 4" the blue tang is around 5-5.5" the achilles will be added once he is ready in about two weeks he will be around 3" so with the size differences I think they will do great. I also added a few fire fish. nothing more going into tank until arrival of the Achilles. then I will look at the addition of corrals
