Could you post a picture of how you have your equipment set up in the middle chamber? I’m not sure how to put in a skimmer without the light being super offset.Take a look at the Bubble Magus mini q skimmer. I have one on WB 20 cube and it is amazing. $50 and started skimming in a matter of minutes. Fits in center chamber with ease. I did have to shift my light mount slightly
I did have to offset the light mount. I am using the flexible goosneckCould you post a picture of how you have your equipment set up in the middle chamber? I’m not sure how to put in a skimmer without the light being super offset.

Is the wavemaker a neccesity or is it more of a luxury? I've seen ones without but I'm new to this so I'm curious.Just placed an order for a Waterbox Cube 20 with the white cabinet, along with a Sicce Syncra Silent 1.0 to use as the return pump. I plan to gather the rest of the equipment over the next couple months and get the tank wet in early 2023. I have to thank my wife for letting expand my aquarium collection and get back into reefing again.

clean up crew
Still researching other options
Once the tank is cycled, I plan on starting with some zoas and mushrooms, and then gradually add some LPS once the tank has been established for 6-8 months.
I have been researching the Dutch Synthetic Reefing system and am debating about trying it out on this aquarium. Does anyone have experience with the DSR method, especially on a smaller sized aquarium? If so, I'd like to hear your feedback.
I’d say it’s a necessity since you want to eliminate any dead spots. You also want flow to transport food to corals and waste away from them.Is the wavemaker a neccesity or is it more of a luxury? I've seen ones without but I'm new to this so I'm curious.
Understood and one more question. What media do you have in your basket?I’d say it’s a necessity since you want to eliminate any dead spots. You also want flow to transport food to corals and waste away from them.
