Setting up my WB 90.3 and not a fan of the filter socks. Water likes to drain down the gaps of the cover plate instead of down the socks. I was considering a fleec roller but the reliability concerns along with noise swayed me to filter cups. Hoping for some insight:

- Do you run anything else in the cup like a filter pad of some sort? Considering cutting out a thin pad to place overtop the cups for noise and prevent water from draining down sides
- Open to any other insight or suggestions
Plan on running some carbon and occasionally GFO in a separate BRS reactor in the sump. Getting back into the hobby after about a 8 year hiatus and lots have changed.
Thanks!
