The SLW-10s have a very similar design, and I'd say that you have to be careful, yes. I have a striped blenny that likes to swim into mine when they turn off for feeding or maintenance. He just sits there with his head poking out - surveying things. I'm looking for some nylon mesh material to make a couple of small drawstring type envelopes that go completely around them. I like sushi, but I want to make sure I don't end up saying "Oh my god, I killed Kenny (the blenny)! Me *******!"you havent had a fish get sucked in? My impressions based on reviews is that they kill fish
No never, my own opinion is the fish that are sucked in are probably weak anyway, ive had fish swim right up to and behind them and do fine, but if you are worried there are guards you can buy.you havent had a fish get sucked in? My impressions based on reviews is that they kill fish
Water movement in a saltwater reef aquarium is so important on many levels so using the right ones in the right configuration for your tank is a pretty big deal! But with so many choices out there it's sometimes hard to choose! Today let's talk about which powerhead(s) or water mover(s) you use and why!
1. What pumps or powerheads are you using to provide water flow in your aquarium and are you happy with them?
2. If you could choose any powerhead or pump on the market what would you choose?
I was wandering if 2 mp10's or 1 mp40 . Which would be best on a cube this size ? Anybody else try this ?I run 2 MP 10s on my 60 gallon Cube.
I chose those when returning to the hobby after doing a bunch of research and reading reviews.
I love them so far.
