Cycled QT tank currently has copper at therapeutic levels. Do people perform water changes during the 30 days or just monitor nitrates to a certain level?
You want to run your copper treatment for a full 30 days and monitor the ammonia levels during this time with a reliable test kit. If you run as an example, , , your copper level at 2.25 - if you must do a water change, mix and add copper back at 2.25 to maintain level. A copper test kit will help determine your needs and level

Thanks. What am I testing to determine if a water change is needed during the 30 days?
Just monitor Ammonia, those seachem ammonia alert badges work wonders! Just keep the tank clean and don’t let food settle and go to waste
