I got this Miracles 120g tank from a fellow reefer @hart24601. I haven’t figured out every detail of the build but my first goal is to get the cycle started. It will be a mixed reef with a good amount of SPS.

I moved the tank with help from friends a few months ago. It’s a beast with 3/4 glass all around. It’s already plumbed and came with the stand, sump and lid. Good start already.

QT is done and fish have been in the tank for little over a week now. I did @Humblefish Hybrid TTM. Lost the two small ones that were having issues to begin with which leaves 10 in the tank. Finished getting refugium plumbed into the sump. Transferred chaeto and hayi into it. I thought most my hayi died so I tossed 95% of it and kept a few small pieces that had some red left. I should have kept it all because it came back fast. The photo grid below is Fri, Mon and Wed showing the quick comeback.

Two week ago we had a power outage and my sump leaked through a small hole about one inch below top. I hadn't noticed this tiny 1/4" hole before and my prior backflow tests hadn't included the additional volume from the refugium. I borrowed a 150g stock tank from a friend and transferred all the live rock and fish to that. Moved the tank over and cleaned the carpet below.

Since I had the tank broken down I decided to build a new taller stand. I ordered 8020 from tnutz for the frame. I'm building a sump tray that I'm lining with pond liner for extra safety. All new plumbing since some parts had salt creep and the new stand will be taller.
