Please help!

My coral looks like parts of it are covered in a black algae that’s destroying it! I have done water test and my Anenome is completely fine, however as of yesterday I have noticed this.

Any comments are appreciated

It's hard to discern from the pics. Is it separate from the coral, or is that part of the coral rotting away? Is it something you can manually remove? It appears that part of the 'arm' is rotting away and the outer covering is just gone in that section.

Agree with others, I would remove and cut outside of the tank the rotten branch. I would also dip in iodine, reintroduce the good branch and run carbon in the display.

I had one rot away after a tank transfer and good thing Iremove to frag, it was making the water all brown from the rot. Eventually even the “good pieces” die too. Good luck.

It is in the middle of the tree what should I do?
Cut below the brown and new polyps will grow and branch where you made the cut. This happened both times I fragged my sinularia. Good luck.
