No dad carries the eggs in his mouth until they are ready to hatch then spits them
That’s kinda cool! So the mom lays the eggs, the dad then picks them up and spits them? What does the urchin get in return?
I love fresh live rock. 90% of my clean up crew travelled in on live rock, rock boring urchins, tuxedo urchins, a l9ng spine urchin, tons of crabs, mantis shrimps, pistol shrimps, all kind of worms etc. This urchin snuck in with 10 lbs of gulf live rock about 6 months ago.
