I have two urchins in my main display, one tuxedo, and one pincushion. My tuxedo roams around the tank, showing up usually in a new location every morning. My pincushion on the other hand always is in the same spot on one of my rocks. I can clearly see that the pincushion has been exploring and grazing on alge and coraline alge. Do others notice that their pincushion also has a “home” in their reef?

That's not a pincushion, that's a 'rock boring urchin', and its quite literally living up to its name.

Good news is they're harmless algae eaters, great additions even if you never see them.

Since I can't edit it in; just adding on they're non-venomous so no worries if you bump into it, the spines won't impale and break off in your fingers.
