About a half an inchIt’s really small?
Amphipod of some sort. Or mysis shrimp
Cool, wonder how it got in there. Very interesting to find live mysis in the tank. I’ve never fed live mysis shrimp/ amphipodThat is an amphipod - good guy! And if they populate your tank, which they will, even better! They’re free fish food, good cleanup crew, all the things.
Copepods are much smallerMaybe a peppermint but a baby one. If it turns red. You’ll know. Or maybe a copepod. Pics sorta blurry
Amphipods and Mysis are both amazing at just showing up on their own. I believe the Mysis shrimp that end up in our tanks are different than the ones we feed though (those are usually freshwater Mysis). The thing in your picture is most definitely an amphipod. If you’ve ever added any live rock, that’s where it came from. They also love to hide in frags, anywhere they can fit.Cool, wonder how it got in there. Probably not a mysis, but they look a lot like amphipods so I threw it out there.Cool, wonder how it got in there. Very interesting to find live mysis in the tank. I’ve never fed live mysis shrimp/ amphipod
