Could be a limpit or a chiton.

Limpit could be a slight danger...and chitons can get annoying for their amazing ability to cut into the rockwork and eat coraline. I've heard that they're even able to cut into the glass of the tank.

A limpit will have more of a pointed shell and a chiton will have a slightly rounded shell that resembles a coat of armor.

yea i have no clue if that first one is a chiton, its similar but it has one of those tentacle head things that pokes up and seems to lead the way. and that second one is definitely a nudibranch of some kind.. if it helps the spikes look lime green under the blue LEDs. ive only seem him twice now so if i should remove him i need to know as soon as possible.

Yeah, get rid of the nudi, cause you can never be sure. If it is a berghia and you dont have aptasia, it would die anyway and the others, you dont want.
The mini brittle stars are great. I have hundreds of them. If there is any food lying around anywhere, they will find it and clean up for you. You will see their legs sticking out of the rocks all over.

You'll need to supply a separate food source for the shrimp. he'll blow through small stars quickly and will require large specimens for good health.

Not sure on the mini brittle stars. He'll take care of any Asterina starfish you may have. Think of those as appetizers anyway, he needs a big steak.

No, what I meant by others were, the other types of nudibranches. Some other types will eat zoas and maybe other corals. And we dont want that now, do we:squigglemouth:
