Hello! I have a piece of live rock I put straight into my tank. No dip . Then I brought home a bubble anemone and obviously I couldn't dip it. Where it was on the rock there are now all these little strange looking brown lumps... looks kinda like flatworms but not really. I dont know what they are so I pulled the rock and the bubble anemone out and put it in a quarantine tank (what I should have done from the start). Any ideas? Thank you in advance my fellow reefers

vermetid snails, they are pests that irritate corals that you should get rid of. If you have the rock out off the tank, just break the entire shell and scrape them off. Don't leave the base. If you can't scrape them off for whatever reason you can cover them in superglue. There are potential options like adding bumblebee snails to eat them from your tank as well, but manual removal sounds like your best and easiest option.

Thank you so much! I noticed them right away and pulled the rock out. Its the only place I have seen them. That rock is now in quarantine with the anemone Im pretty sure they came in on. 3 pounds of live rock and a $50 bubble anemone is not worth pests in my tank! I will keep an eye for any more.
