This cool white sponge has been growing in my tank I thought it was a pineapple but now I think it's something different. It has little spikes with pompoms on the end of it.

I would say the tank is dedicated to sponges and gorgonians and I have a bunch of these zoas growing like weeds elsewhere so I am going to let it grow. The more I think about it the more I think its probably a reproduction tactic? Probably not feeding with them. I dose phyto, sponge power and amino acids so it could be pretty happy.
