For those of you that like to tinker and/or fix things, here is a Tunze 6105 motor block. Notice that the cord sheath is broken where it enters the block itself. The pump works fine but I don't want to use it in this condition. MFG date is 08/2018 so it's not very old. Including only what you see in the pictures. Call/text me for fastest response at 81zero-8seven5-0001.

$50 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states.

I don't think there is much to tinker with here, perhaps encapsulate it with epoxy. Ignoring the manufacturing date, if you purchased within 2 years the powerhead is still under warranty.

I actually found a second motor block that has the same problem. This one is older, MFG date of 2010. Works fine, just the cord issue. This has the longer, removable impeller shaft and has the old style connector (does not have a built-in controller).

I'll post up a picture shortly. $30 shipped to lower US. TEXT me if interested.
