I hate to be the bearer of bad news but genetics plays only a small fraction of the health of your oral cavity. My father lost all of his teeth when he was my age, but he made sure I always went to the dentist.

my last dentist trip was a waste, she said i had a cavity forming but not showing on the tooth, drilled it so far that my nerve showed then filled it, still hurt a week later went back, they dug it out and then proceeded to drill it more then legit covered my entire tooth in resin to hope it would help... it gets infected every month and causes so much pain and they still want me to pay for the extraction or root canal that should have been done to begin with and not just cross their fingers and say ohwell lol
