It's really the Palys you have to worry about. As long as you are not handling them and then touching your eyes or mouth you should be good to go. In reality you should be wearing gloves and eye protections when handling any coral not just palys. I've definitely irritated my eyes by accidentally touching corals and then my eyes. No fun at all!

I just read an article about it being in certain zoanthids as well. But it is hard to know which ones contain it.

Another article i read said you should bag in the water because the release of toxin comes as the coral is raised to the waterline in the tank.

There is probably trace amounts in all of them, but you definitely want to handle all corals with care. Always remember your safety equipment.

I have a pretty good size rock that had some favorites on it such as AOI, daisy cutters and etc…. But it also had some nirvanas or Mohawks or something similar that just overtook all the ones I like.
Is there a safe way to remove only the ones I do not want? Pluck with tweezers or something? Could it be done in the display? I would need them open to ensure I’m only removing the ones I don’t want…
