Hi all, I'm looking to go from a FOWLR tank to a reef tank with my fluval flex fifteen gallon aquarium. I'm looking for tips on keeping corals what corals to avoid and what to expect. I also need helpful links and what reef light I should buy. It would be a blessing if you guys could find corals similar to the artificial plants I have already since my clownfish love their setup

Corals I want that look similar to my plants:

i dont know of anything looks similar to the purple plant, but a toadstool leather would look similar to the mushrooms,
what salt are you using? you might need to switch salts
for light? im not sure as im going thru the exact same thing as i set up the same tank a few days back lol

Can you get enough light in a fluval flex to house an anemone? To be perfectly honest, I don't know how well that light will grow any corals even. Maybe it will grow softies?
i dont think it would. light strip seems cheap to be honest lol. some upgrades needed for sure,
might grow some zoas or mushrooms.
i can find out, i have a few plus laying around in the display that i could put in there and see how they do.
you know for research purposes :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

They are really great looking tanks. I ran one for a couple years with pea puffers for my kid. Loved the tank. I hated the light. Couldn't get plants to establish at all.
