I’d like to get my first monti cap in the near future. I am aware that there are standard varieties in green, orange/red, and also in purple/pink. Generally speaking, when I’ve looked for grafted montis, the ones I’ve seen are only combining green with orange.

Does anybody sell grafted monti cap that has sections of green, orange, AND purple?

Generally, only corals of the same species can graft with each other. I'm guessing that the purple plating Montiporas are a different species than the red and green plating montis. Also, what are labeled as "Montipora capricornis" are actually not true M. capricornis, but other species of plating montipora with papillae, such as M. florida, M. aequituberculata, M. foliosa, etc.

Plating monti caps are easy care and priced well for being grafted.
