Got this Trachyphyllia 3 weeks ago was open/puffed up but never fully. It was in low flow low light. For 2 days was fully deflated so I moved it to lower light and today looks really bad. Any advice on what to try to help it ?

If it’s 7.4 ppb I’d say disregard the high phosphate concern but if it’s ppm that’s wild

Have you tried feeding it? If so, what have you tried to feed it and how did you try to do so? They should inflate when they sense food...they should definitely be fed imo.

What unit of measurement is phosphate and what kit is measuring ?
My phosphates for reference are .01 - .02 ppm

This looks like severe eroding and may be beyond saving

Have you had alkalinity swings? They hate that

You can try feeding with food soaked in Brightwell Restor, it’s a supplement for coral tissue repair.

Thanks guys need to proof read my posts
Phos .74
The coral is gone the tissue just peeled of. Alk swings are from 8-8.4 I test every 2 days.
I tried to feed benereef miked with Redsea AB. And some baby brine shrimp.
Fish list foxface. Copperband, white tail tang, 2 clowns, 6 line wras,
Every thing else does great in my tank.
would love to try another one but would like to know if I did something wrong to kill it or was just bad luck.
