I think its just ripping flesh but its hard to tell. My torches get mad if im under 1380 mag.

that head is fully bailing or has baled out.

Also looks like an aptasia at the bottom which probably is not helping.

Actually front part of the torch bailed out in February. You can see it on the first page of this thread.
The aiptasia look like thing is tube worm.

How do you guys know when your torch is splitting? Had these since december
When it closes up at night you’ll see the skeleton start to pinch as one head becomes 2 heads.. you can see here the top left and bottom is splitting..
