Hey reefers! When I got started 6 years ago I got a trio of pajama cardinals. They are really pretty, but also pretty boring activity wise. They used to fight like puppies for 15 mins or so right before lights out, but other than that super placid. They are getting pretty old, and 2 have gone the way of the world already, once the last one passes, i would like to get some more active fish. Would really like anthias, but i am running a standard 75, that is fairly well stocked already.

I have:
1 yellow eye kohl tang abt 3.5 inch
1 scopas tang abt 3.5 inch
3 blue-green chromis (fully mature)
1 Halichoeres chloropterus (almost mature, but not quite)
1 tailspot blenny
1 falco hawkfish
1 ocellaris clown
1 firefish goby

I love the movement and activity the chromis bring to the middle and upper part of the tank and want to expand that with some anthias, but don't want to create any needless aggression. Any of you have any experience in a setup similar to that with anthias? or maybe i do another trio of damsels, like lemon damsels? Any thoughts?

i cant think

With those fish already, I wouldn’t add anymore.
That Chloropterus, you will know when he’s mature. Mine is still with me just not in my personal tank for a reason. He’s already been the culprit to 2 Blue Star Leopard Wrasse murders in his new home.
How big is yours? Mine is still growing and is 6 inches already after 4-5 years of having him.

good gravy, that sucks! i have been keeping a close eye on him for aggression, was worried about that, but i had an amphipod explosion that he has tackled quite nicely.
mine is about 2 now and probably 4.5inch. i don't know what all it eats all day now must still be enough pods coming back up from the sump, but it is still a fat little piglet and luckily so far has been pretty chill. It did fight a bit with my falco at first, but now they have come to an understanding and leave each other alone. was hoping the anthias would be treated like the chromis, the Chloropterus ignores them completely, as do the 2 tangs.
