finally got my lazy butt to take some top down shots.. having the MH in the middle of the hood didn't help at all.. some are really crappy but you guys will get the idea...

i wanted to ask you why do you use black perspex rather then other colour perspex, is the black generally the most effective at shielding all spectrums?

lol i bet that confused you, i should of said my question to you has nowt to do with pictures you just posted lol

i thought you said you used some over tank when got new lights to slowly acclimatise by removing a bit at a time, im sure you said black perpex lol so i was enquiring re that.

hmmm... if I did, it must've been a typo coz I used black screens to acclimate the corals to the new lighting.. :)

the reason i asked cause i have shallow frag tank with both high light and lower light zoa frags growing so need to create some sort of shaded/light filter in an area to keep lower light zoas happy and thought of you and your new lights procedure lol

thx marv ill sort something similar
