Is it possible to have "too many copepods" in a Reef Tank? I've added a pair of AquaCultured Mandarin Dragonets (tiny babies) to my tank this week and I've been "dosing" Copepods fairly often for the last few months in order to establish a robust colony prior to adding this pair of "Pods Suckers" LOL!

The past 3 weeks (when I started getting ready to order my pair of baby Mandarins I've been adding between 4oz and 16oz of Copepods (a couple times a week I add a good shot of Phyto into the 16oz Pod Bottle) every single night.

My thought process is:
a) a strong healthy Pod-pulation is a good thing for the tank overall.
b) If there isn't enough "pod food" in the tank their #'s will rise and fall in proportion to available food just like in nature.
c) I have a Sand Sifting Starfish in this tank so I'm sure it's having an effect on my Pod-pulation as well.
