I answered an add for frags and drove 40 minutes to meet @emantwinz
I was treated to a STUNNING Reef tank and a wonderful reefer who gave me the full tour of his tank and equipment and answered all of my questions. I wish I could have picked his brain further but I was embarrassed for taking up so much of his time.
The colors, size of corals and diversity of his corals was amazing. He has achieved so much in just 2 years.

I asked him to please do a write-up so other reefers could learn from his experiences.

It's reefs like this that inspire to continue.

If I had to point out one thing that I took away was that he does not do water changes with any regularity but instead follows the reefers moonshiners method and he swears by it.

After seeing his tank, I seriously have to look into it.

I hope he chimes in with a thread explaining everything he does and shows his progression because the tank was stunning.

Some of his encrusting corals were dinner plate size. Just amazing.
He told me that all of his pieces were started with frags which again is amazing.

The 3d pic are my frags, these were inexpensive and nice sized pieces.

Thank you @emantwinz I hope to pick your brains in the future. Thank you for the hospitality and all of the information you provided!!!
