So I have a toadstool that is growing like a weed. While it is on a seperate rock, when fully open it is only about an inch or so away from some of my zoa's. Anyone know how this will play out? Currently I can move the toadstool, but is does seem extremely happy where it is so I do not really want to move it. IF it will take out some of my Zoa's, but then they will just migrate in the other direction, I am good with that.

Ah, I love toadstools! I've moved mine around my tank for similar situations, but I never move it more than a few inches. It's continued to be a happy camper.

Yes, that is what I am thinking/ hoping. I am just amazed at how fast it has grown. It has more than doubled in size in just 3 months. But my Zoa's have been where they are for about 6 months, so they take up a pretty good area as well.

Touching each other is fine. Shading, not so much. Time to give it a haircut.
How do I go about that? I don't want to damage it. Also, as you can see in the picture, the toadstool is close to bottom in a 24" deep tank, so I don't worry too much about shading yet.

Sharp scissors. You probably have some time but it will grow up as well as out so eventually surgery will be required.
