I have a 34gallon Red Sea Max AIO that , no matter what I try, produces "micro"bubbles with a skimmer in the back skimmer chamber. I'm on my third skimmer in one year, the stock point of sale, a Tunze nano ( produced the least amount of micros), and now a Euro Reef made for the RSM. So, I guess the best thing to do is run a sump.
The Euro Reef will have to be modified to fit a sump in my cabinet at a cost of $85. This would probably be the cheapest way to go, but I have had problems with the mesh wheel impellars not holding up for very long, 6 weeks at best.

So, any sump/skimmer suggestions? One other thought is to try a Remora hang on back. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

I have a Remora and it works adequately...

I always recommend a sump when its possible though...
