Last resort, I cut them with a razor blade… instant frag!
I agree here. If you really want to move it, use a clean razor blade and slice it off at the base. The top will survive and the bottom will grow into a new frag.

If this worries you, try this... slice a small piece of the top of it off and place that somewhere and watch it turn into a small toadstool. When you are satisfied that slicing it in pieces won't kill it ... slice the big piece.

Now, are you sure you can't just grab it and pull it off the rock?
