A. secale, cerealis or nana would be my guesses but really too small to tell for certain. All fairly common and generally like high light and pretty decent flow.

Not asking about the monti. Sorry.
My own guess was a tri-color on the little one - green polyps, tan flesh, purple growth tips. I'll let it gain a little more structure, then try again. Thanks!

Jeff - that isn't one of the frags we picked up together from AM is is it??
No. I've had it for a long time, and never mounted it. It's been lost, found, lost and found again. It was a tiny broken tip when I got it - 1/4" long. Down low in the tank it's tan/green, up high it blue/purple. I think I'll mount it up high and see what happens.

I Googled the Bonsai, indeed I think that's it @Reef Pets! Thanks!

And @KJ, always with the wit. LOL

Gotcha! I was going to say yours is doing so much better than mine.
That is a great looking piece though. It is going to look amazing when it colors up! Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Have continued Googling it. Purple Bonsai (A. nana) pretty sure, especially after seeing brand new nana frags, as mine looked identical.

The one we got from AM, that came from CoryC, is branching, with purple growth tips. Can't remember what Cory told me it was though. [emoji15]

I scored a purple bonsai in the FHC auction last month. I think they're gorgeous corals so I'm looking forward to seeing it mature and color up!

Brandon has got it going on. I'm glad we're giving him business after his generosity at Christmas. I hope to myself soon - after MTRC though. LOL
